Red Carpet Vintage Style Prom Dresses

So, this year we have already had the red carpet of the BAFTAs and the Grammys, so we are starting to get some real style inspiration for our special occasion dresses. Obviously the musicians and actresses that grace the red carpet, have access to couture designer gowns and with being performers they are not afraid to take a fashion risk or two, but we can cherry pick some style inspiration from them in order to make our own vintage style prom dresses pick stand out from the crowd.

This year, one of the stand out dresses for me was the Giambattista Vialli pink dress that Rihanna wore.

The beautiful ball gown style stunned everyone who saw it, and made her the most talked about of the night. The colour is amazing against her skin-tone, and it really makes a refreshing change to see her in something so feminine and ladylike!
