I ordered this dress for a family wedding in October - I love '50s styles and wanted something with sleeves since it's an autumn wedding, so this dress ticked both boxes! The colour is a beautiful bright red, and the cut of the dress is just stunning, and it looks fabulous with or without a petticoat. I've attached photos showing it without a petticoat, with a small one-layer petticoat, and finally with a full fluffy petticoat, and it looks great each way. The back is beautiful too, with a lower cut than the front. Honestly, it's a stunning dress, fits me perfectly; I ordered the 8, and usually wear an 8-10, and there's still a bit of give in this, which is perfect for a wedding (after all, meal + dancing - you don't want too tight a dress for that!) It's perhaps a bit on the expensive side, so I wouldn't have bought it without a good reason, but it's a truly gorgeous dress, and I'd definitely recommend it. My only recommendation would be that perhaps the brand label could be smaller, or put in a less conspicuous place; it's quite large, and on my dress at least it's a bit wonky, which would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that the stitches are visible on the back of the dress. Wouldn't be as much of an issue on a patterned fabric, I suppose, but is a bit irritating after spending this much on it.
